Lead Engineer- Witney

G-Force Personnel Ltd are currently looking for Lead Engineer for our client based just outside of Witney

 

The role:

Our client has an immediate requirement for experienced and hard working Lead Engineer to join their busy team.


Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Will lead, manage and develop a small team of engineers and contractors
  • Own and manage site engineering budget
  • Responding promptly and professionally to break downs and giving feedback to the production line
  • Develop schedules for regular preventative maintenance and other equipment servicing
  • Focus on KPI and work towards achieving achieved targets
  • Once trained to do so, conduct risk assessments for the department
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures.
  • Give advice and provide recommendations to production team in order to maximize machine productivity and minimize down-time

 

 

The ideal candidate:

 

  • Needs to be electrically & mechanically competent- minimum qualification in engineering to NVQ L3, City & Guilds or higher
  • Will have abroad knowledge of engineering practices and facilities management including HVAC, refrigeration, effluent and site services
  • Have hands on attitude and work effectively on your own or as a part of a small team
  • Must be a strong leader and motivate their team to deliver the best engineering service
