Facilities Engineer Permanent in Buckingham

Our prestigious client based in Buckingham is currently seeking a Facilities Engineer to join their team on a fixed 0800 1700 Mon Thurs and 0800 1300 on Friday


The Company


Our client supplies, designs and manufactures products for premium brands and are unique in their field in that they undertake all aspects of design and manufacturing at their site in Buckingham.

The Role

The role is to work alongside the maintenance team supporting the maintenance of new and current production equipment as well as overseeing the specification, design and commissioning of new equipment


Responsible for:

  • Quick diagnosis and repair of equipment, fault finding and technical support to ensure machinery is always operable
  • Develop expertise in all plant equipment.
  • Train and up skill operators
  • Develop maintenance plans
  • Standardise equipment
  • Sign off on new machines

The Candidate

  • Apprenticeship qualification, degree or HNC/HND or equivalent
  • Experienced in working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent PC skills, PLC programming and Fault Finding
  • Robotic programming would be an advantage as would experience in injection moulding machines
